Fault Diagnosis Method of Reducer

In view of the faults in the operation of the reducer, the relevant personnel can adopt the instrumental detection method to make the faults invisible in front of the relevant equipment. These instruments mainly measure the temperature of the bearing end cover and other parameters of the reducer, then compare the measured data with the normal data, find out the abnormal data, and then go through the cane to find the faults. Location, judge the fault type. Testing instruments are mainly used by maintenance personnel. In the daily operation of the reducer, the monitoring and correct operation of the reducer need to be completed by the staff. For these staff, relevant fault diagnosis methods should be formulated. These diagnostic methods are as follows:            

1. Observation            

Wear and oil leakage have more intuitive manifestations, so we can diagnose faults by observation. Aiming at the wear phenomenon, we mainly observe whether the surface of the wear part is smooth, complete and delicate. In view of the oil leakage site, the oil seal is mainly observed to see whether it is intact or not, and the oil plug and air vent are also checked. The quality and quantity of lubricating oil cannot be wrong, so the relevant personnel also need to observe the color and oil level of lubricating oil to determine whether it is normal [3]. Some of the related faults of the reducer occur in the interior, and the relevant personnel should stop running and open the cover for inspection.            

2. Touch           

Touch can judge wear and oil leakage and other faults, after all, the temperature rise is caused by wear, and it will lead to oil leakage fault. So the temperature parameter is an important diagnostic basis. Relevant personnel should judge the fault location by touching the relevant parts of the reducer. In the daily operation of the reducer, the relevant personnel also need to implement this diagnostic method. Once the equipment temperature is too high, stop and check in time, so as to reduce the wear or oil leakage fault of the reducer.            

3.  Listening            

The reducer is not a silent device, but its fault state is different from the normal state, so the relevant personnel can listen as a diagnostic method. After the gear reducer fails, the internal operation system will be affected, so the operation noise is very large and the sound is irregular. When the performance of the reducer occurs, the relevant personnel should listen carefully to find the noise emitted parts.
