Market Status of Reducer Industry

The product categories involved in the reducer industry include all kinds of gear reducers, planetary gear reducers and worm reducers. The product service fields include metallurgy, non-ferrous metals, coal, building materials, ships, water conservancy, electric power, construction machinery and petrochemical industries. According to preliminary statistics, the major industries with large consumption of reducers are: power machinery, metallurgical machinery, environmental protection machinery, electronic appliances, road construction machinery, chemical machinery, food machinery, light industrial machinery, mining machinery, conveying machinery, construction machinery, building materials machinery, cement machinery, rubber machinery, water conservancy machinery, petroleum machinery. Machinery and so on, the number of reducer products used in these industries has accounted for 60%-70% of the total number of reducers used in various industries. During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, due to the adoption of positive fiscal policies, domestic demand was stimulated, investment in fixed assets was intensified, and the development of various industries entered the fast lane. Especially the investment in infrastructure has accelerated the development of metallurgy, electric power, construction machinery, building materials, energy and so on. Therefore, the demand for reducers has gradually expanded. During the 10th Five-Year Plan period, with the emphasis on the machinery manufacturing industry, the acceleration of the nationalization of major equipment and the construction of urban renovation, venues and other projects, the market prospects of reducers are promising, and the whole industry will continue to develop rapidly, especially the growth of gear reducers.  It will be greatly improved, which is related to the use of gear reducers in most imported equipment.            

II. Domestic Development of Reducer Products            

Domestic reducer manufacturers also coexist in various forms, such as foreign-funded enterprises, Sino-foreign joint ventures, state-owned enterprises, joint-stock enterprises and individual enterprises, with a large-scale output value of over billions of yuan per year, ranging from small to millions of yuan. Among them, foreign-funded enterprises account for about one-fourth of sales. Current, domestic middle end such as Taixing, Tailong, Ningbo Dongli, Suye, etc.          

Generally speaking, the development and renewal of domestic enterprises and foreign reducer series products have made slow progress in recent years. The gap between domestic enterprises and foreign counterparts in this respect has been widening. Now there are many imported reducers in the market. The familiar SEW and FLENDER occupy a larger share of the import market. There are other things such as Zhuolun wheel. Sumitomo, Bonfrey, Falk, Nord, Hansen, Brewini, etc.            

For a long time, most of the self-produced deceleration transmission equipment in our country belong to general products, and people often locate these equipment in the middle and low-end products. With the acceleration of the pace of economic development, transmission equipment manufacturing giants in Europe and the United States have rushed to the beach, occupying the mid-high-end market of reducers in China. If domestic reducers want to compete with foreign good reducers in the domestic market, they still need to go through a long period of development in many ways.

III. Development Prospects of Domestic Reducer Enterprises In terms of capacity expansion and technological transformation of reducer industry enterprises, there has been a leap-forward development in recent years. This is due to the strong market demand in recent years. On the other hand, Iraq is also driven by the subjective desire of enterprises to expand production scale, improve processing and manufacturing level, and further enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. The key processing equipment purchased by major manufacturers in the past two years, such as large grinding machines, boring and milling machines, technicians ‘centers and heat treatment equipment, totals more than 200 sets. It is expected that the capacity of the industry will be more than doubled. The development of technological reform has the objective effect of assessing the scale of enterprises in the industry, the concentration of production and the competitiveness of enterprises. Because there are still many practical problems in the industry, such as large number of enterprises, small specifications and uneven level, with the decline of market demand and the large-scale entry of foreign counterparts into the domestic market, the industry competition will be aggravated, which will also promote the merger, integration and even transformation among industry enterprises. In terms of product marketing competition, foreign manufacturers have also stepped up the pace of establishing production bases and sales centers, actively penetrating into various industries. Good management and management concepts of foreign manufacturers, rich market practice and expanding experience and unique product series will bring strong challenges to domestic manufacturers.
