The development of speed reducer

In the 1970s-80s of the 20th century, the speed reducer skills in the world have been greatly developed, and closely combined with the development of the new skills revolution. The development trend of general reducer is as follows:            

High level and high performance. Cylindrical gears are widely used in carburizing, quenching and grinding, so that the load-carrying capacity can be improved by more than four times. It is small in size, light in weight, low in noise, high in power and high in reliability.           

(2) Building block combination planning. Priority number of basic parameters, regular scale, strong versatility and interchangeability of parts, simple series expansion and pattern renovation are conducive to arranging mass production and reducing costs.            

(3) Diversification of types and many variant plans. Instead of the traditional single base equipment method, the hollow shaft suspension type, floating support base, motor and reducer integrated connection, multi-direction equipment and other different types are added to expand the scope of application.            

The main factors that promote the level progress of reducer are as follows:            

(1) The theoretical knowledge is becoming more and more perfect, which is closer to practice (such as gear strength calculation method, modification skills, deformation calculation, optimization planning method, root oil-slip transition, new layout, etc.).            

(2) Selection of good materials, all kinds of high-quality alloy steel forgings, data and heat treatment quality control level progress.            

(3) The layout planning is more reasonable.            

(4) Processing accuracy has been improved to ISO 5-6 level.         

(5) Improvement of bearing quality and life. Improvement of lubricating oil quality.  Since the 60's of the 20th century, China has formulated the standard Huaihe River for JB1130-70 Cylindrical Gear Reducer and other general reducers. In addition to the cheap matching operation of main engine factories, a number of specialized reducer production factories have been formed. At present, there are only a hundred companies producing reducers nationwide, with an annual output of about 250,000 universal reducers. They have made contributions to the development of China's machinery commodities. Most of the reducers in the 1960s were made with reference to the skills of the Soviet Union in the 1940s-50s of the 20th century. Later, although they were developed, they were limited to the planning, technological level and equipping conditions at that time, and their overall level was far from the international level.            

Since the reform and opening up, China has introduced a number of leading processing equipment. Through introducing, digesting and absorbing foreign leading skills and scientific research, China has gradually grasped the planning and manufacturing skills of various high-speed and low-speed heavy-duty gear equipment. The data, heat treatment quality and gear processing accuracy have made great progress. The manufacturing accuracy of general cylindrical gears can be improved from 8-9 grade of JB179-60 to 6 grade of GB10095-88. The manufacturing accuracy of high-speed gears can be stabilized at 4-5 grade. The volume and quality of some reducers are significantly reduced after choosing hard tooth surfaces. The carrying capacity, service life and transmission power of some reducers have made great progress, which has played a great role in energy saving and improving the overall level of the main engine. The power of China's self-designed high-speed gear reducer (accelerator) has reached 42000kW, and the gear's circumferential speed has reached more than 150 m/s. However, the skill level of most reducers in China is not very high. Old commodities cannot be replaced immediately. The transition of coexistence of new and old commodities will go through a long period of time.
